Featuring Artist: Daniel Martinez

Flamenco Guitar Stylist, Composer & Teacher from Iquitos, Peru

Martinez is a sought-after instructor and a familiar presence on stages in the region. He has performed in South America, Canada and across the U.S.

As a guitar professor at Union College, Martinez loves watching his students grow into their music skills. He also offers private and group lessons for all ages and abilities.

Martinez formed the band Jarana in 2009 to amplify the joy and energy of his music. Together, they fuse the sounds of the Andes with acoustic flamenco riffs and rock beats.
