One former victim tells of the night that a “buyer” asked her trafficker,
What is her name?
Her trafficker said,
She doesn’t have a name.
Nebraska Attorney General
We believe each person, uniquely created by God, in His own image, was given a name, and has a unique purpose in life. You are His workmanship, His masterpiece. (Eph 2:10)
I’ve Got A Name began as an event in 2010 to raise awareness and resources to fight sex trafficking in Southeast Asia through Tiny Hands International. The event was repeated again the following year. The combination of these two events resulted in raising funds to rescue more than 2400 girls from the sex trade of Southeast Asia.
I’ve Got a Name became a 501©3 non-profit organization in 2012 when it changed its focus on sex trafficking where we live in Nebraska. The 2012 event, “Stolen Lives” raised funds to support a full-time Street Outreach Director in Lincoln.
We continue to support this position that has changed the lives of hundreds of women and girls and are committed to similar services that protect and provide hope for those vulnerable or victims of this abuse.
